To skip a stage that is a bit hard, press Ctrl+Q to go to the 
editor. Choose yes, then make a map with only your units on it. 
Launch the new map and you will win instantly. Then you can 
select the next mission in the game.

IN THE GAME MENU PRESS SS AND THEN TYPE:
DARKPOWER= MAXIMUM POWER
DARKINV= INVULNERABILITY
DARK20000= MONEY VALUE 20000

This is probably a fault in the game but it is useful if 
you don't have many credits when you're getting attacked 
by enemy infantry units. If you are playing with "Imperium" 
and you are able to build "Shredders", click on decoy and 
build a decoy shredder. Once built, move the decoy shredder 
up to an enemy infantry unit then click on the opposite 
side of the unit. The decoy shredder couldn't be bothered 
to go around the unit so it'll just move through the unit.
There may also may be more faults in decoy units but I 
haven't tried them all yet.

Money Cheat for Dark Reign!!!
Note: This cheat a HEX EDITOR!!

1/ -Write down how much money you have eg 12000

2/ -Save Game and exit

3/ -Start up a Dec - Hex calculator

4/ -In Dec mode input amount of money

5/ -Convert to Hex, if for example you had 12000 credits 
    the resultant Hex figure would be 2EE0

6/ -Swap the last two characters with the first two ie. 
    2EE0 would become E02E, write this number down

7/ -Repeat steps 4 - 6 replacing current money with money 
    you want, eg if you want 50000 credits the
    resulting Hex figure would be C350 and upon swapping 
    chracters the result would be 50C3

8/ -Open a Hex editing program (like Hex Editor) and open 
    the saved game. Do a search and replace,
    searing for (in this case E02E and replacing with 50C3) 
    save and backup saved game file.

9/ -YAY!!!! instant money

10/ -Remember FFFF is the maximum you can input, but be 
     warned it can cause problems, my advice is to be 
     conservative.

When playing the Freedom Guard the skirmish tanks always 
seem so fragile compared to the enemies plasma tanks. 
Well now you can give your skirmish tanks the same 
characteristics as the plasma tanks.

There is a file called 'units.txt' in ..
\darkreign\dark\deftxt dir.

You can edit this file, search for the Freedom Guard tank 
settings. Look for the 'Setstrength' entry and set your 
units strength to around 500. There is another field which 
sets the price and buildtime set this to say '50 1'. 
This will give you cheap tough tanks for around 50 credits 
and they will be built really quickly.
Note: You can do the same for the spyder bikes and tank 
hunters.
Also there is a file called 'build.txt' which you can set 
the cost and increase the toughness of your buildings in 
the same way. 
This works for all missions up to the 6th one. This is 
because there is a dedicated dir and units.txt file for 
this scenario which you have to also edit in the same way.
Trounce those Imperial swine with weapons to match their 
own...
